Modulo's Interview with Richard Rusczyk (Co-founder of Beast Academy and AoPS)

Manisha sat down with Richard Rusczyk, co-founder of our favorite adaptive math app, Beast Academy and CEO and co-founder of Art of Problem Solving.

This week, we had the privilege to talk to Richard Rusczyk, co-creator of one of our favorite adaptive learning apps, Beast Academy. Richard is the founder and CEO of Art of Problem Solving and co-founder of Beast Academy.

In this episode, we talk about the origin story behind Beast Academy (and Beast Academy Online in particular), the complexity of building truly adaptive educational software, how parents can support their kids learning math. We’ll also address a wide variety of questions from parents in the community, ranging from when the long-awaited science program is coming out, to how Beast Academy addresses diversity and inclusion in its mission.
